Ali represents the inaugural batch of Bahria University BBA Program 1995-96.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Post completion of his MBA degree, Ali joined banking profession. He has over 20 years of banking experience covering Corporate, Investment and Institutional Banking across diverse client segments with renowned financial institutions in Pakistan.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Currently, Ali is working with Standard Chartered Bank where he is leading bank\u2019s Global Corporates business across the country. Moreover, Ali is also heading bank\u2019s Global Banking business for Northern Pakistan which entails Sovereign \/ Government of Pakistan, Multilaterals, Foreign Missions and International NGOs coverage.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Covering assorted portfolios throughout his career, Ali has vast experience in origination and execution of big ticket deals including Advisory, Debt Capital Markets (Sovereign Euro Bonds, Sukuks and TFCs etc.), Multilateral backed offshore transactions, Corporate Finance, Transaction Banking and Financial Markets transactions across multiple industries and clients.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Ali loves to interact with people from varied backgrounds.\u00a0 He also likes to read books and magazines.\u00a0 He has also developed keen interest in gardening.\u00a0 On a personal level, Ali is associated with Rotary Club and supports various social causes from time to time.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Ali is married to Mehwish who teaches at NUST Creative Learning School.\u00a0 Mehwish and Ali are proud parents of three adorable daughters.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Last updated on February 1st, 2022Executive Director Country Head \u2013 Global Corporates &amp; Head of Global Banking, Northern Pakistan Standard Chartered Bank.
