Assist in timely start of approved civil works.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in monitoring of ongoing projects while suggesting remedial measures where necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in timely processing of invoices \/ bills of contractors &amp; consultants as per terms &amp; conditions of the contracts.<\/li>\n<li>Visit building \/ work sites regularly to inspect quality of construction \/ renovation works being performed.<\/li>\n<li>Initiate periodical progress\/ reports and indicate deviations \/ delays here applicable.<\/li>\n<li>Inspect building materials to ensure that they are supplied as per contract specifications and are stored in safe &amp; secure place.<\/li>\n<li>Must ensure requisite safety precautions at works sites.<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate quality of completed works and recommended payments to contractors as per schedule of work as enshrined in contracts \/ work order.<\/li>\n<li>Any other duty related to civil work projects as assigned from time to time by Dir P&amp;D &amp; DD (Development).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><u>PROJECT ENGINEER \u2013 BUHO<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>QUALIFICATION<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Candidates having BS Civil Engineering or minimum 16 years of qualification in Civil Engineering;<\/p>\n<p>Must be PEC certified<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>EXPERIENCE\/ SKILL<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Preferably 03 years of relevant Experience<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>JOB DESCRIPTION<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Project Engineer shall be responsible for the following:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>To assist PM in ensuring that the construction work is undertaken by Contractor is as per approved design\/ specification.<\/li>\n<li>Resolve any issue\/ dispute arising with regards to technical drawing\/ specification requires for particular construction activity.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with contractor\/ consultant to eliminate bottleneck to ensure on schedule execution of Project activities.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain liaison with consultant and contractor to resolve any issue w.r.t shop drawing etc arising in approved drawings.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain close liaison with Consultant\/ Contractor Staff deployed on-site for update\/supervision\/monitoring of construction activities.<\/li>\n<li>Assist PM in preparing monthly\/ quarterly construction activities report required to be submitted to CMC\/ BPSC.<\/li>\n<li>Assist PM in arranging BPSC\/ CMC meeting and circulation of MoMs related to construction activities.<\/li>\n<li>Assist PM in ensuring that all safety measures are implemented on-site by Contractor during construction activities.<\/li>\n<li>Assist PM in ensuring that Contractor has made available necessary First Aid equipment on-site during the construction activities.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that construction site remains clear and constructor dispose off waste from site on regular basis.<\/li>\n<li>Assist PM in evaluating performance of all Contractors\/ services providers to ensure that no overbilling\/ overpricing by contractor\/ supplier.<\/li>\n<li>Advise on all technical\/ architectural issues related to the project.<\/li>\n<li>Any other duties as assigned by the higher authorities.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>____________________________________________________________________________________<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Director Human Resource<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Bahria University, Shangrila Road, Sector E-8, Islamabad<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Tel: 051-111-111-028, Ext: 1246, 051-9263176<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Last updated on October 30th, 2024&nbsp; QUANTITY SURVEYOR BAHRIA UNIVERSITY HEAD OFFICE &nbsp; QUALIFICATION: BE\/ B.Tech Civil Engineering\/ Structural Engineering &nbsp; EXPERIENCE: 3 years relevant experience &nbsp; JOB DISCRIPTION: Assist in tendering and bidding process with regard to civil works.
