Commercialization (I&amp;C)<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Educational Qualification &amp; Experience: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>MS\/MPhil\/Equivalent from any HEC-Recognized University.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 5 Years\u2019 University Management Experience Preferably in Office of Research Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC).<\/li>\n<li>Evidence of Managerial and Communication Skills.<\/li>\n<li>Should have Good Working Knowledge of MS Office, Taking Minutes\/Notes of the Meetings, Drafting Official Letters\/Casefiles.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to Network with Academicians\/Researchers.<\/li>\n<li>Having Knowledge of Research Publications, Journals and Funded Research Projects.<\/li>\n<li>Having Knowledge of Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) and Tech-Transfer Methodology including Patent Filing.<\/li>\n<li>Having in-depth Understanding of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (RIC) Ecosystem.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for developing and promoting BU\u2019s Innovation &amp; Commercialization interests through local and national research networks as required.<\/li>\n<li>Provide support and guidelines on Innovation and Commercialization policies to faculty members\/researchers across BU.<\/li>\n<li>Set goals and responsibilities within the research ecosystem to monitor procedural efficiencies.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and implement commercialization plans of Research and assist Director ORIC in establishing and sustaining the desired innovation ecosystem.<\/li>\n<li>Help to report on the outputs and impact of research projects, including preparation of proposals, presentations and developing innovative communication techniques e.g. data visualization for BoG, HERC, Bugle, Annual Reports and other reporting purposes.<\/li>\n<li>Assist Director (I&amp;C) in providing interface between BU and funding agencies to build strong networks in consultation with other Directorates under Pro-Rector (RIC).<\/li>\n<li>Develop an in-depth knowledge of research projects and outputs across university and identifying potential opportunities for research funding.<\/li>\n<li>Develop, maintain, and communicate pre-and post-award administrative procedures for externally sponsored projects.<\/li>\n<li>Provide facilitation, support and guidelines to different research journals for research publications by faculty members.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain the research database of Bahria University through an Online Management System (BU Research Portal) and verify the research publications on as and when required basis.<\/li>\n<li>Establish liaison with Incharge TISC regarding matters related to IPs.<\/li>\n<li>Any other tasks assigned by Director ORIC.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>____________________________________________________________________________________<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Director Human Resource<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Bahria University, Shangrila Road, Sector E-8, Islamabad<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Tel: 051-111-111-028, Ext: 1246, 051-9263176<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Last updated on November 7th, 2024&nbsp;
