BUHSCI<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualification: <\/strong><br \/>\nBS IT or BS CS<\/p>\n<p><strong>Experience: <\/strong><br \/>\n5 years of more at the Position of Network Administrator\/Manager IT\/Assistant Director IT.<br \/>\n<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Duties \/ Responsibilities <\/strong><\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Assist in developing and implementing the organization\u2019s IT strategy and goals<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Configure, install, and maintain network devices, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Servers Management, RAID configuration, data backups, NMS Server etc.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Monitor network performance to identify and resolve issues, such as latency or outages.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Perform regular network testing to ensure optimal functionality.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Implement and enforce network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection\/prevention systems (IDS\/IPS), and VPNs.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Monitor unauthorized access and cyber threats, responding promptly to security incidents.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Regularly update and patch network devices to protect against vulnerabilities.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Provide technical support to end-users for connectivity problems.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ensure minimal downtime through prompt resolution of issues.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Design and configure network infrastructure for scalability and efficiency.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Set up and manage VLANs, subnets, and other network configurations.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Configure and maintain DHCP, DNS, and other critical network services.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Maintain up-to-date documentation for network configurations, policies, and procedures.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Create reports on network performance, incidents, and capacity planning.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Track and document network inventory, including hardware and software.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Set up and manage network backup systems to ensure data protection.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Develop and test disaster recovery plans for network restoration during outages or failures.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Monitor user activity to prevent unauthorized use<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Coordinate with vendors for hardware\/software procurement and support<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ensure the network complies with organizational policies and industry regulations.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Any additional task assigned by DD-IT in addition to his own.<\/li>\n<li>The application deadline is 20th January.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>____________________________________________________________________________________<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Director Human Resource<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Bahria University, Shangrila Road, Sector E-8, Islamabad<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Tel: 051-111-111-028, Ext: 1246, 051-9263176<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"mb-2 flex gap-3 empty:hidden -ml-2\">\n<div class=\"items-center justify-start rounded-xl p-1 flex\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Last updated on January 21st, 2025&nbsp;
