For more perspective, I added this page to my saved list: https:\/\/www.aawatches.uk.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Revised Cash Awards Policy for Publication of Research Papers \/ Books For Faculty &amp; Students<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Policy Number:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 BUORIC-P01<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Effective Date:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>7<sup>th<\/sup> May, 2013<\/p>\n<p><strong>Amendment Date:\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>11<sup>th<\/sup> January, 2016<\/p>\n<p><strong>Policy Title:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>Cash Awards for Publication of Research Papers\/Books<\/p>\n<p><strong>Approval Authority:<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Competent Authority &amp; HERC<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsible Party:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Higher Education &amp; Research Committee (HERC)<\/li>\n<li>Office of Research, Innovation &amp; Commercialization (ORIC)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Purpose:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To promote the research culture at Bahria University by enhancing the research publications by the faculty and student of BU.<\/li>\n<li>The Higher Education Commission of Pakistan publishes, each year, the annual research output of the universities in which HEC ranks the universities on the basis of the research papers published under their university names in HEC Recognized Journals (included ISI-Indexed Impact Factor Journals).<\/li>\n<li>HEC every year retrieves the number of ISI-Indexed Impact Factor research papers published by the faculty members of the universities through ISI-Web of Knowledge.<\/li>\n<li>For the purpose of enhancing the annual research output of Bahria University, a policy on cash awards have been duly approved and implemented.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Scope: <\/strong>All BU researchers \/ faculty members and Scholars \/ Students of MS\/MPhil &amp; PhD can apply for this award.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Policy Statement:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Cash Award will be given to the research publication in the following categories:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>ISI Indexed with Impact Factor Journal Publication \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 50,000\/-<\/li>\n<li>ISI Indexed without Impact Factor Journal Publication \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 25,000\/-<\/li>\n<li>Book Publication (subject to the verification from HEC) \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a025,000\/-<\/li>\n<li>HEC Recognized local\/Pakistani Journal \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a010,000\/-<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>(X, Y &amp; Z Category Journals)<\/p>\n<p><em>(<strong>Note:<\/strong> There shall be Cash Award for the publications in BU journals which are HEC recognized only).<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Students\/Scholars of MS\/MPhil &amp; PhD programs at BU can also apply for the cash awards if they publish books and research papers in the above mentioned journals in future. However, for PhD Scholars, Cash Award shall be given to the publications which are subsequent to their mandatory research paper degree requirement.<\/li>\n<li>The revised policy for Cash Award for HEC Recognized local\/Pakistani journals and Cash Awards for Students\/Scholars of MS\/MPhil &amp; PhD programs will be applicable on the publications <strong>e.f. 11<sup>th<\/sup> January, 2016 <\/strong>onwards.
