The objective was to bring job seekers and employers under one roof and to guide candidates on various career paths and innovative job hunt tactics. The job fair served as an cost-effective way for the organizations to directly interact with prospective candidates and recruit the required talent without going through of traditional hiring practices.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Rector Bahria University Vice Admiral (R) Tanveer Faiz HI (M) inaugurated the<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-5559\" src=\"http:\/\/archive.bahria.edu.pk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/54-300x142.jpg\" alt=\"54\" width=\"331\" height=\"156\" srcset=\"https:\/\/archive.bahria.edu.pk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/54-300x142.jpg 300w, https:\/\/archive.bahria.edu.pk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/54-768x362.jpg 768w, https:\/\/archive.bahria.edu.pk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/54-1024x483.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 331px) 100vw, 331px\" \/> event at 10:30 AM. Other senior management of university, alumni and potential employers were also present at the occasion. The Career Expo \u201916 provided a unique forum to connect employers who offer career opportunities with candidates from Bahria University Islamabad. The industry players as well as human resources experts from top organizations gave an overview of the various industries\u2019 update on HR demands, entry requirement and career prospects. The event was arranged with an objective of not only connecting top talent with great employers but also to provide a great opportunity for students and alumni to learn about job openings, research companies and practice their interviewing and networking skills.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The event went for whole day from 10:30 am &#8211; 18:15pm. Around\u00a070\u00a0leading companies of telecom, FMCG, services, manufacturing, NGOs and banking sectors participated in the Career Expo 2016. The main highlight of the Job Fair included giving job seekers the opportunity to meet with employers at Bahria University Islamabad. Other resources that were available included career counseling professionals. The event continued for the whole day during which the employers conducted on spot interviews and selected the candidates as per their requirement.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The companies namely\u00a0Standard Chartered \u00a0Bank,\u00a0\u00a0Airblue,\u00a0Bank Al Habib Ltd,\u00a0European Complex\u00a0,\u00a0AEO Pakistan,\u00a0PFL, Nayatel,Meezan Bank Limited,\u00a0Roots International School, MCB,\u00a0Askari General Insurance Co Ltd, Synergy Advertising, Channel 7, Bahria Town,\u00a0Haidri Beverages Pvt\u00a0, Capital TV, SNL Financial and many other graced the event with their presence.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Over\u00a02000\u00a0current students and 500\u00a0alumni appeared for interviews and explored career opportuniti<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Last updated on May 12th, 2016Bahria University Islamabad organized Career Expo\u201916 on 22nd\u00a0March, 2016 .
