Marketing management represents a field that is a perfect fit for people who are comfortable communicating to clients and other professionals, possess an ability to observe objectively, research effectively, problem-solve, and process data in order to make the best decisions for the future. Having said that, Mr. Kamran Moeen is one such name that stands tall amongst the many successful managers in Pakistan’s telecom industry today.

It is a matter of privilege that Mr. Kamran Moeen is an Alumni of Bahria University graduating with an MBA in Marketing in 2001 and securing a Silver Medal with a 3.96 CGPA. Prior to that, he completed his BBA at Bahria University in 1999.

Apart from being a student of great will and determination, Mr. Moeen took keen interest in sports, particularly Cricket. As the captain of Bahria University Cricket Team, he has represented the University at many tournaments and sports forums.

Hardworking, capable and devoted, Mr. Moeen is currently the General Manager Segments at Ufone for the past 3 years. Yet, the highlight of his starry career rests in his 11 years of service at Mobilink. Having started as the head of Geographical Marketing he steadily climbed the ladder to become Senior Manager Commercial Integration Jazz Warid.

Given the growing usage, and dependence of telecom services in this day and age, Mr. Moeen carefully worked on marketing strategies that targeted wide-reaching and diverse set of audiences. “Curiosity, innovative thinking, people skills and adaptability are some of the key qualities of a successful manager in any given field”, comments Mr. Moeen.

Today, Kamran Moeen prides himself over his comprehensive 15-year career path having worked in areas of marketing strategy and planning, value added services, brands and communication, product development and implementation, geographical business expansion planning, 3G business planning, market research, commercial integration M&A, Mobile financial services and 4G. His experience is not only limited to the telecom industry rather extends to builders and developers whereby he has executed projects like residency apartments, family entertainment centers, marriage halls, and fast food chains.
