Syed Jubran Ahmed holds technical and practical skills on planning and managing large seismic acquisition, processing and interpretation projects with intense focus on its scope, deadlines, cost and HSE high performance has been proved in last 10 years’ experience. He started working with British Petroleum (BP) as Geophysicist from 2007 – 2009 with development team for implementation of infill drilling options to successfully manage the decline of the mature fields and maximize future production opportunities through geophysical evaluation and quantitative interpretation techniques then switched on to serve as an Acquisition Geophysicist with BP Oman and engaged in planning, design and supervision of 3D Wide Azimuth Seismic Acquisition campaigns (10,000 Sq.km) from 2010 – 2012. Currently working as Exploration Team Leader in United Energy Pakistan (UEP) and supervising an integrated interpretation of G&G data from a regional perspective to prospect scale, with the aim to identify structural & stratigraphic traps for Hydrocarbon and moreover supervising ongoing seismic acquisition and processing (20,000 Sq.km) projects. Occasionally deliver the lectures on geophysics to graduate and post-graduate students of Bahria University Islamabad and Karachi campus. In his career he has achieved many Spot Recognition Awards to lead the Mega Geophysical Projects of Pakistan and he gives credit of his success to his teachers and senior colleagues.
