We are seeking talented individuals to join our organization as Database Record Officer (Software Developer and System Administrator), specializing in Oracle Developer 6i (Forms/ Reports) and Oracle 10g database.

 

Qualification
Minimum 16 years of education in Computer Science/IT or equivalent.

 

Experience
Preferably 02 years experience as Oracle Developer 6i & Oracle 10g database Administrator.

 

Job Description

  • Develop and maintain Oracle Forms applications, ensuring high performance and reliability.
  • Design, code, test, and debug software solutions using Oracle Developer 6i and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze user needs and implement effective solutions.
  • Manage the applications developed in Oracle Developer 6i (Forms & Reports) environments, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and provide timely resolution to minimize downtime.

Skills Required

  • Proven experience in software development and system administration, with a focus on Oracle Developer 6i and Oracle 10g database.
  • Proficiency in PL/SQL programming and Oracle database management.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Certification in Oracle technologies (preferred but not required).

Qualification & Experience

Job Description

The Deputy Director IT is to ensure following:

  • Manage and monitor LAN/WAN network services.
  • Maintain an inventory of all network devices.
  • Replacement of failed hardware and addressing system problems.
  • Project management, security, asset management, customer service or help desk departments – in order to resolve problems and manage projects.
  • Oversee development and maintenance of computer systems and setting of intranets.
  • Identify departmental needs and make suggestions regarding technical direction.
  • Design and implement system security and data assurance.
  • Responsible for system hardware and software upgrades ensuring system wide availability and capacity needs are met in a timely fashion
  • Provides skilled technical support in liaison with vender technical personnel to install products.

Candidates having minimum PhD in Engineering or Management Sciences OR MS/ M. Phil in Engineering or Management Sciences with 03 years post qualification experience

The candidate should possess:

  • strong academic administration experience related to implementation of HEC graduate education policies
  • strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft office, database systems and analysis

Job Description

The Deputy Director Post Graduate Program (PGP) will assist Director PGP in:

  • Develop policies and rules related to postgraduate programs in light of HEC guidelines and ensure their implementation.
  • Monitor the progress of postgraduate students through quarterly or bi-quarterly progress reports by the respective CUs or departments.
  • Timely processing of cases of time-bar extensions of PG scholars in accordance with relevant BU/HEC rules.
  • Maintaining a department-wise record of ongoing and planned PG programs in all CUs.
  • Scrutinizing and processing the cases of new PG programs for NOC from HEC.
  • Supervising the induction and admission of quality PG scholars through proactive interaction with faculty deans and HODs.
  • Processing the foreign evaluation of the PhD thesis and their follow-up for timely evaluation reports from foreign evaluators, as well as compliance of these reports by the respective scholars or departments of respective CUs.
  • Coordinating the final PhD thesis defense by the respective CUs and monitoring its follow-up for timely assessment reports from the examiners.
