14 years’ experience in international FX and Money Markets, Fixed Income & stock valuation on local bourses Austin Ismat is a graduate of Bahria University. He is currently working in State Bank of Pakistan
as Joint Director, Strategy/Execution International FX/MM/FI. He has been involved in formulation of investment strategy for the portfolios of international FX/MM/FI at the Central Bank, with a special focus on the central bank’s reserve management priorities and targets. It’s been a fulfilling journey of him, filled with challenges, learning and achievements at the country’s Central Bank and his previous stint at a stock brokerage house. The exposure to private and public sectors has been extremely enriching. And this all makes him even more enthusiastic to reach higher ground, in terms of professional and excellence.
