Mr. Nasir Mahmood Malik has got more than 15 years of experience, working in government and corporate sector which includes Habib Bank Limited, Bahria University & Planning Commission in Islamabad, Pakistan and Pakistan Education Center (PEC) Doha, Qatar. For the last 9 years, serving at the apex national planning and development organization, Nasir has significantly contributed towards developing a national ICT vision on how to transform e-services to facilitate citizens, increase efficiency of government organizations and improving the delivery mechanism in the projects.

As such, he has extensive experience of different phases of project management lifecycle, from project appraisal, initiation, execution, monitoring and developing annual Public Sector Development Program (PSDP) for ICT sector. Also, he has been interacting with the highest level of management (i.e., Ministerial level) on regular basis for briefings on ICT-related matters and completed numerous assignments of the Honorable Minister too.

As holder of prominent international certifications i.e. Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), he has hands-on experience of designing information systems and developing application software. One of his fortes is conducting training and delivering education at the professional level. Also, he has supervised number of research projects carried out by students of various Universities. Other professional trainings he took include Project Management Professional (PMP), Visual Languages, Oracle, Hardware, Linux etc.

He has excellent academic credentials including distinction in MS in Software Engineering and four of his research papers have been published in International Journals. He has in-depth knowledge of various technologies prevalent in ICT sector and has keen interest in learning about the latest trends in his profession.

Furthermore he received Appreciation certificates for providing ICT training to Pakistani community in Doha-Qatar on the instructions of “Ambassador of Pakistan to Qatar”. Also, Dr. Samar Mubarak Mand a renowned scientist awarded him for his contribution towards public sector ICT projects.

Currently, he is leading the initiative of “National Mobile App Competition” to attract high impact solutions for the country.
