Bahria University Placement Office has organized 7th Cohort National Incubation session on 6th December 2019 in coordination with BU Alumni Mr. Abid Gul working as Marketing Lead in National Incubation Center. He explained in detail to students who are from 7th and last semesters how they will become part of 7th Cohort incubation and convert their final year project as Startup. Session was very informative and he encouraged students to become Entrepreneur. He introduced students with another Alumni Mr Ali Sawati who is successfully running two startups.
The National Incubation Center (NIC), a technology startup hub. Startups at Ideation, Validation and Growth Stages solving problems in Agriculture, Health, Inclusivity, Education, Logistics, Sports, Automation & Productivity, Travel & Tourism, Real-Estate & Construction, Gaming, Food and Environment & Sustainability are one of the best incubation programs in Pakistan, a public-private partnership between the Ministry of IT & Telecom, Ignite, Jazz and Teamup. He is the Alumni of BBA Batch 2014 and MBA Batch 2015.
We are proud to share that our BU Karachi Campus Business Incubation Center’s Alumni Startup Company – Wondertree, which makes interactive games for children with special needs has been selected in Google For Startups Accelerator for Sustainable Development Goals.
Wondertree is the only startup company selected from Pakistan and Asia. Furthermore, it beat over 12000 applications around the world to be part of the 11 startups worldwide.
Wondertree will work closely with engineers from 20 Google teams and other experts to address products, engineering, business development and funding challenges.
