Bahria University invites applications from suitable candidates for the post of Research Associate Bahria University Nima Islamabad

 

 

QUALIFICATION

Candidates having 18 years of education in Maritime Domain, Blue Economy, Environmental Science, Sustainable Development, or equivalent in relevant subjects from HEC-recognized university

 

EXPERIENCE

Preferably 02 years of experience in maritime think tank or 3 years of experience at any reputable research organization. Sound research background with a minimum 3 publications in reputable national / international research journals.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Research Associate will assist in:

 

  • Discuss the Research Questions with Research Fellow
  • Assume Co-Researcher duties and produce Research answers to research questions in proper format, provided by Research Fellow
  • Discuss the research modalities, requirement of funds, manpower and time in hand to complete the research with Research Fellow
  • Keep Director and Research Fellow informed about the progress of Research
  • Distribute queries, questions, data requirements about section of research to attached internees
  • Keep track of progress of internees
  • If delay in producing research is inevitable, discuss the same with Research Fellow for remedy
  • Provide necessary input / guidance in research, where needed to Internees
  • Produce final draft of section allocated to Research Fellow
  • Provide input in preparation of distribution list for President’s approval.
  • Assist / contribute for planning of launching of Research through Seminar, Focused Talk or Maritime Discourse as appropriate
  • Assist and prepare presentation for NHQ, JSHQ, MoMA, MoD etc
  • Be ready to present salient of research at short notice to Director
  • Be ready for any other duty assigned by the management
